The Jays and Ravens guard and protect the humanoids and insects from the predatory wrens. Both play a crucial role at the annual insect race where they patrol the skies and defend those competing in the annual Insect Race.
The Jays are a cacophonous but fun-loving group and like their Raven colleagues are both part of the corvid family of birds. Corvids are an incredibly intelligent group and are also masters of flight, two factors that have helped maintain peace and stability in this fictional world of giant insects and diminutive humanoids.
The Jay sculpture is made to be wall mounted and includes a wall bracket that the wing is attached to. As the mounting post can be attached to either wing you can order either a left or right flying Jay. The first 2 pieces in this collection were made as a couple and were mounted on 2 walls flying towards each other.
