Reserves, Returns and Certificate Of Authenticity Terms

Reserve

If we do not have a piece in stock you can pre-order a piece by placing a deposit.

A $200 deposit is charged so that the next piece in the edition is reserved for you. The deposit will be charged when you place your order. The deposit is credited toward your purchase, one deposit being charged for each piece you order. The deposit is refundable up until the time when you are billed for the balance. You will be billed for balance when the piece is cast, finished and ready to ship.

Example

An edition is limited to 30 pieces and the current price for one piece is $ 2,600. Of the 30 pieces in the edition 10 have already been made and sold. The next number in the edition would be #11. If you place a reserve for $ 200 then #11 will be made for you and when this piece is made and ready to ship, we will bill you for the balance of $ 2,400 plus shipping and sales tax if you reside in California.

FAQ’s

If I wish to purchase 2 or more pieces from the same collection will / be charged more than one reserve deposit?

Yes, for every piece you order you will be charged a deposit. In the above example you would be reserving the next 2 pieces #11 and #12 so would be charged $ 200 for #11 and $ 200 for #12.

What if I want to buy a piece from 2 different editions how many deposits would I be charged ?

Again, you will be charged for each piece ordered so if you are buying 1 Stag Beetle and 1 Jay Bird you will be charged $ 200 for each piece i.e., $ 400 in total.

What happens if I decide to cancel my order? What happens to my deposit?

Your deposit will be returned in full and the number in that edition that was reserved for you will be available for others to purchase.

Return Policy

We do not offer an open return policy, each sale being final unless a piece is defective. Each piece is made and finished by hand and we hope it will become a valued treasure. In the unlikely event that a product is defective please contact us so that we may issue a return authorization. Subtle variations in the finish of products will not be considered a defect. The evolving color of a patina that naturally changes over time is also not considered a defect. On receiving the returned piece and if it is defective, we will replace the product promptly or issue a refund if requested.

Certificate of Authenticity

Each art edition is limited to a specific number of pieces and each sculpture or print when purchased will include a Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate will show what number your piece is within the series and will record the date the piece was made. All certificates are signed by Martin Pierce.
