As we shared with you in a recent post, Martin has been working on a sculpture of a stag beetle. As is evident in the photo, this piece features some pretty incredible detail of these amazing creatures that have captured Martin's attention for many years. It can be cast in either bronze or steel and measures an impressive 20”W, 15”D and 6”H. This will be part of a limited edition of 50 individual sculptures.
He/she is also going to be joined by an adversary who will be dueling it out on a very large bark terrain modeled, as you will recall, from an actual felled tree. This action piece will not be ready for several weeks but I can share with you that it will most likely feature two fighting stag beetles cast in steel and arranged on a bronze bark plate.
